2022 is over?!
Wow, that was fast! A few updates from the Wu-Zhang clan!
Zoe perfected her Medley swim routine and joined a local swim team (go Stingrays!) She finally outgrew her Hatchamals, moving on to Pokemon cards and squishmellows. Chung even got her hooked on some Brandon Sanderson novels! We can't help but feel bittersweet about her growing up so fast 😍
Ian started Kindergarten and made new friends. He tried many ball sports, but Pickleball is his favorite. He also started reading, devouring every Dogman he can find. He brings us so much joy with his endless commentaries!
Mel transitioned to a full schedule of work. Her long commutes suck, but at least she caught up on those true crime podcasts! On her 40th birthday, Chung surprised her with a VIP pass to a Metric concert (her favorite!). Emily signed Mel's shirt with "40 is the beginning!" What a way to start the decade!
Chung took two "work trips" to Rio and Cancun and finally met his co-workers (and got mistaken for Bruce Lee multiple times again). He also tried to keep up with Zoe's piano and violin classes, but that's not going so well...
We took a camping trip to Lassen and Crater Lake! Lassen was beautiful; we did some great hikes and walked through some lava tubes! But Crater Lake was snowing so much when we got there that we never even saw the lake 😭 At least we found an awesome natural hot springs nearby!
